Dear Sir Knights & Ladies,

   Who’s ready for spring? Gallant knights braved the cold at the National Right to life march in Washington DC last month and we continued the cause at home as well. Standing up for Gods Greatest gift to mankind needs to be more exposed and not in my opinion be left out of the political debates, in 2009 and 2010 the death toll rose ever more. I believe that Limbo was created for the lost babies and the parents that aborted them join them there as eternal baby sitters in the end.

  Lent is coming soon and oh my, what should we fast for this year? Being a convert I use to vacation on my birthday in March but had to put that on the back burner and gave up my carousing to join in the fun of being catholic. In my youth I was or thought I was indestructible but age bestows wisdom and fortitude to know better. Life in general is short what we do with it does make a difference in the big picture.

   Still looking for donations for the Operation Quiet Comfort folks we seemed to hit a stall there. The disaster in Haiti is one of those headlines that fade but our giving for that cause must also continue on. My retreat center project took a turn backward when I tried to set up a fund to build it, didn’t know giving away money was so hard, any way I will be coming up with a plan that will launch it soon! Remember “Saint Rose is coming to Indiana!!!” we need a place to contemplate our morels and heed the Holy Sprits Calling. It has been a while since the Knights built something that would last and give solace to the soul. Going back to core values the Son taught and getting in touch with the Father in his terms.

   Father Lawrence should be back soon and he will be boasting a good tan I bet. Our Master Dale Heger will be here for our Social this month and will make him an official 4th degree Knight as well; he will also discuss our plans for Exemplification in South Bend late summer this year. There are two other Exemplifications first March 21 in Muncie and April 10-11 in Merrillville. Click here for our Website for more details.

The Right to Life March also I heard was a good turnout Sk Ray Sommer, Steve Elek, Tom Lesniak, Dave Towner attending.
