There has been a rumor that all the past faithful navigators give it all up and sit on their hands, I think that was just foolish talk but to place rumors aside I don’t plan to sit on my hands I plan to raise them up!! Not to look like an idiot but to serve the Lord more than ever! Efforts are underway for the St. Rose Project and have me scampering for plans. The Summer picnic is Sunday June 20^th and Betty assures me the food will be tasty. Dottie’s potato salad is requested. Attention golfers, get a hold of Rick Alexander this year to form a KofC presence against the Masons Wed. July 14^th. I think a few foursomes are needed still. A last plea for Sir Knights in Regalia for the Corpus Christi Masses this next Sunday, Bishops Rhodes and D’Arcy will be in town at least three parishes for the occasion. Special blessings go to the ones who can attend and serve. The Election of Officers will be the topic of the June meeting and a Scribe is found. After a quorum of 12 members and runoff election our Officers for the 2010-2011 year is complete. Time is not our friend when it comes to the upcoming exemplification plans are underway for the program book and hotel and conference locations (see enclosed flyer), the Date is set for Aug 28-29 so far that is in stone. RESOLUTIONS TO BE VOTED ON AT THE JULY 1, 2010 MEETING

Be It resolved that the Father Julius A. Nieuwland Assembly appropriate $1,000.00 for special events to take place during the years 2010 and 2011 under the guidance of the Faithful Navigator and the assembly officers.

Be it resolved that the Father Julius A. Nieuwland Assembly appropriate $500.00 maximum for the purchase of Catholic scouting medals for Saint Joseph County during the years 2010 and 2011 with proper invoice.

Be it resolved that the Father Julius A. Nieuwland Assembly appropriate $750 maximum for plaques for the Inner City Catholic League’s first place winners during the years 2007,2009,2010 with proper invoice.
